GitFlow: Making Git Work for You (and your CMS)

My talk will be technical, and I hope it will help round out some knowledge in the EE community. I hope the takeaway will be the learning of Git best practices, how to utilize Git in an effective manner, and a general increase in development knowledge in an important area.

Biography

I am the father of four amazing children ages 10, 7, 5, and 3 and have been married to their mother, the love of my life, for 11 years. And while not quite a native Nashvillian, I've been in the Nashville, TN area for 20 years.

After spending some time with ExpressionEngine by way of the website at a small film company I was working for, I discovered I loved EE and web development. I spent 3 years at Caddis Interactive in Franklin TN where I became a senior developer. I now run my own web development business.

Being your average nerd, I love several sci-fi franchises in the form of movies and TV shows, but my first love since before I can remember has always been Star Trek.
