Pots, Meet the Kettles: Integrated Developers with a Creative Team

Developers are creative. But unleashing that creativity - and effectively integrating developers with the rest of the creative team - calls for a nuanced approach. Here's how to involve developers in every step of the project process. 


Stephen Tidmore is TradeMark Media's technology director.

Having built his first (of hundreds) of websites in 1999, Stephen knows the Internet backward and forward––and he’s committed to putting the user first.

After college, Stephen spent a few years as a Web developer for Dell. But then wanderlust struck and Stephen bought a one-way ticket to Spain––which launched a six-year globe-hopping journey. In his time abroad, Stephen built international community service programs in Nicaragua, the British Virgin Islands, and on Native American reservations in Montana; taught English in Spain; and was an “adventure coordinator” in Belize. In all, he’s lived, worked, or visited 30 countries.

Upon returning to Austin, Stephen was a webmaster at The University of Texas at Austin (his alma mater) before joining TradeMark Media in 2012. As a technical savant and savvy communicator, he’s the perfect person to direct the technology on which our clients build their digital identities.

When not building websites, he loves spending time with his wife and kids, photography (he’s an accomplished photographer), hiking the Greenbelt, and eating Thai food.
